O Homem pode ou não viajar no tempo? É possível teoricamente viajar no tempo para o futuro (só; para o passado não, pois surgem paradoxos insolúveis). No entanto, em termos práticos, não se vislumbra possibilidade de o conseguir fazer nos próximos séculos...

Uma óptima oportunidade para tirar todas as dúvidas teve lugar a 13 de Novembro de 2009 quando o Prof Paulo Crawford deu uma palestra no Funchal (integrada nos eventos oficiais do Ano Internacional da Astronomia) precisamente intitulada Viagens no Tempo. Is it possible for Man to time travel or not? In theory, it's possible to time travel into the future, but not into the past, for unsolvable paradoxes would happen. However, in practical terms, we can't see the possibility to do this in the next few centuries...

A great opportunity to clear all doubts on this happened on November 13th 2009, when Professor Paulo Crawford (CAAUL, Lisbon, Portugal) gave a lecture at Funchal, inserted in the official event schedule of the International Year of Astronomy, titled Viagens no Tempo (Time Travels).
