Qual a constituição interna do Sol?

What is the internal composition of the Sun? The Sun is essentially made up of Hydrogen (about 94%) and Helium (about 6%). Inside the Sun, nuclear fusion reactions occur in which hydrogen is constantly converted into helium by releasing large amounts of radiation. Nuclear fusion occurs when hydrogen nuclei are forced together by the force of gravity. The pressure exerted by the released radiation balances the force of gravity, causing the Sun to have a stable balance that lasts for about 5 billion years (and will continue to last for some more billions of years).

In terms of internal structure, we can see the Sun as a huge sphere of Hydrogen with a core of Helium at its center. In a more advanced phase, when the Helium has enough mass, the Helium nuclear fusion reactions will begin, which will lead to the formation of a core essentially made up of Carbon.
