I achieved my Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master’s in Medicinal Chemistry from India. I did my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the subject of computational chemistry from India and worked on the development of novel topological descriptors and QSAR and QSPR models using topological indices. I was associated with the Drug Discovery Division, Jubilant Biosys Ltd., Bangalore, India after my PhD and worked on the computational tools for the design of novel molecules for different therapeutic targets.

I am associated with CQM, University of Madeira as a Post-Doctorate Research Fellow and the area of our research includes design of scaffolds with specificity amongst their therapeutic targets utilizing computational tools i.e. rigid and flexible docking, shape comparisons, substrate envelope, molecular mechanics and dynamics, virtual screening, and chemoinformatics (QSAR & QSPR), etc.
